Data base know ledge on Oracle, My SQL and Knowlwdge of PL/SQL including writing and debugging complex and scalable solutions using stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, etc. 2. Knowledge of Linux & Unix shell scripting. 3. Ability to resolve Technical Issues quickly and suggest best alternatives 4. Excellent logical and analytical skills to solve complex problems. 5. Good at communication, both verbal & written. 1-2 years in Data Base Administration. 1. Database Administration including Planning/Implementing, Memory Management, Tablespace Management, File Management, Segment Management, User Management, Resource Management, Password Management. 2. Database Backup & Recovery Strategies, scheduling the backups. Backing up system & user databases and restoring them whenever necessary. 3. Managing schema objects such as tables, views, indexes, procedures, triggers . 4. Work on Linux & Unix shell scripting. |
